A safe haven for residents
Located in the middle of the quiet apple orchards on the outskirts of Armagh city, Fairlawns Care Home is an ideal safe haven for residents. As one of the largest dementia residential care homes across Northern Ireland, we have a large cognitive impairment unit featuring 29 bedrooms designed specifically for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. These residents will also have the chance to relax and partake in physical activity by spending time in our beautiful, enclosed dementia garden.
Engaging group activities
Fairlawns is welcome to those with physical disabilities and frail elderly people, with a limited number of spaces for those under 65. Each bedroom in our facility is a private space, allowing each resident to enjoy their own independence. Most bedrooms come equipped with an ensuite bathroom/toilet. Our caring and committed workers host leader-led activities 7 days a week to ensure each resident is kept as active and engaged as possible. From memory boxes to group film nights, we strive to present creative and interesting activities to bring fulfilment during our residents’ time at Fairlawns. Visiting hours are from 14:30 - 16:30 and from 17:30 with the last appointment available at 19:00. All visits must be booked over the phone at 028 3752 5074 in advance.
